Elite Surf School & Education Program
The Saltwater Institute provides an opportunity for students to pursue their love of surfing while embracing educational excellence. It delivers a unique, extended program of high performance surf coaching in the mornings followed by our custom designed “In the Pipeline” curriculum.
The coaching component, run by Surfing Victoria, will encompass valuable, consistent time in the water, high level fitness training, individual program development, equipment refinement, equipment trials, video analysis and expert tuition. This will be followed by an afternoon curriculum program that is surfing and coastal focused while maintaining national education standards.
A curriculum will be delivered that harnesses the students’ interests with units such as Wind, Waves and Motion, Coastal Formation, Surfboard Technology and Surfers’ Nutrition Growth and Strength. Our goal is to create an environment that fosters positivity, curiosity, independence, respect for the environment, perseverance and the pursuit of excellence.
